We started Epoxy Flooring Orange County in 2007 with a simple premise: most epoxy floors fail because the contractor skipped prep. Diamond grinding, moisture vapor testing, crack repair, and the right chemistry for OC's climate - these are the four steps that separate a 20-year floor from one that peels in 18 months.
Eighteen years and 3,500+ floors later, we still run every job the same way. Our installers are W-2 employees, not day-labor crews. Every coating is USA-made and manufacturer-certified. Every floor gets a moisture-vapor test before we quote it. And every install is backed by a lifetime warranty against peeling, hot-tire pickup, and UV yellowing.
National franchises sub-contract to whatever crew is available that week. We don't. Our installers have averaged 9+ years on the team and have worked through every slab condition Orange County offers - Newport Beach coastal humidity, Anaheim summer slab heat, Yorba Linda inland conditions, Old Town Orange's 100-year-old concrete. Local experience matters because OC isn't one climate; it's six.
Prep is non-negotiable. Every job gets diamond grinding, moisture testing, and full crack repair. We turn down jobs where the client wants to skip prep - it's not worth our warranty.
USA-made materials only. No imported resins, no unknown supply chains. We use Penntek, Polyaspartic.com, and Citadel - domestic manufacturers with full chain-of-custody.
Fixed written quotes. Never hourly, never "we'll see how it goes." You get a written number before any work starts and we honor it.
Lifetime warranty. If our coating ever peels, lifts under hot tires, or yellows under UV, we re-coat at our cost. The warranty is in writing and transferable to the next homeowner.
